Better than ikyw in my opinion. It seems like a better blend of modern pop and the rawness I’ve came to expect of trench. Musically the chorus really strikes an emotion instead of just being some dance shit. But there’s also some bad tropes of modern pop lyricism in there that I could do without. Like “the heart gets slo.o.o.o.ow. We all heal tho.o.o.o.ogh”, and the the fuck is “I don’t know how you feel yourself”? I bop to it, don’t hate it, but i wouldn’t call it a masterpiece.
